ruffle top, this in floral... my blush top left in maternity only.

I love blush tops (i love pink!) I am going away from the bright pink as I get older... mature.. mom of 4... mid-30s. whatever you call this stage.
I also like pencil skirts. You'd notice that I rarely wear pants now. Except for my skinnies... (helllloooooo HIPS!)
This tucked-in top and pencil skirt is a new fave combo of mine.
If I did not wear this to church a couple of weeks ago, I'd wear it again for mother's day. It screams MATERNAL, agree?
I wore this when I covered a weekend at the hospital for a colleague. Glad I did that... because she took this weekend instead! yay! I am off for Mother's Day weekend!
As much as I love dressing up, it can be tedious. So I overdressed rounding at the hospital on a Saturday... I knew I was going to church later that day.
My resident was in skinnies (gasp). My pediatrician colleagues were wearing scrubs (as they should). There I was, called out since I wore this pencil skirt and blush top. overdressed.
I did not wear the studded flats to the hospital. I changed from these flats to these pseudo-Valentino for Church.
