This is where I should deliver: Hau Sheng Hospital in Yuanlin in central Taiwan. It's a Hello Kitty themed hospital. "Director Tsai Tsung-chi opened the hospital with T$100 million ($3 million) in his hometown of 126,000 because his mother, wife and daughter all like the cartoon cat." I can see Derrick going all out for me... but maybe not a hospital. well, maybe.. since I am doctor.

The Simple Woman Daybook

Outside My Window... my beautiful lilies!

I am thinking. . . of the baby's nursery. It's in the works. Derrick started painting yesterday.

I am thankful for. . . surviving my last call as an intern last night! I have 2 more days to go as an intern!

From the kitchen. . . grapes, strawberries and more fruit.

I am wearing. . . my blue nightgown.

I am going. . . back to sleep after my dinner. I already slept about 6 hours after lunch.

I am reading. . . The Book of Daniel (still...) It's a Bible study I am doing on my own.

I am hoping. . . for a fun and productive week off before I start my research.

I am hearing. . . Derrick yawning. He is diligently studying for his CPA certification.

Around the house. . . baby stuff. We had to move Daniel's stuff out of his nursery so we can paint.

One of my favorite things. . . chocolate mint ice cream! YUMM!


A few plans for the rest of the week. . .


• Baby shower at Derrick's work

• Get a pedicure and haircut (Thanks hubby for my gift card to get my nails done. It's really hard to do my pedicure on my own bec of the belly bump)

• Run errands: bank, have our rings cleaned, visit 2 daycares.

• Fix baby's room.

This is Belly Week #... 34. Weight gain to date: 31.5 lbs. Baby's weight: 5 lbs 2 oz, 55th percentile (As Andy B. said it: that's pretty big for an Asian baby!) well, thank you.
