It's the second day of the Nordstrom early access sale. I used to be "blah" about this sale. Like:
what is the big deal people???
After a few years, I am converted! The sale is the time to stock up on
basics and update your
autumn capsule wardrobe.
If you are like me and have lots of
basic tops already, then focus your efforts (and hard-earned money) on
items that only get discounted during the sale. I am a sucker for jeans. I cannot justify a $200 pair since I cannot even wear them to work. So after a couple of years looking/wishing I own a
designer pair, I just waited for the sale.
Here are my top picks while browsing the sale. I will let you know which ones I ordered and on their way to the DisisD casa. As usual, affiliate links are used.
1.
Distressed ankle skinny for less than $50 - it is more distressed than the Sarah version I already own. If you are not afraid of white denim, this one is a nice choice for the price.
2.
J Brand high waist - I own a pair of JBrand and they are so comfy and stretchy. These are a
darker wash and look polished and perfect with heels for a date night.
3. Another high waist pair of denim
for less than $45. No buyer's remorse after clicking the
place order tab.

Ripped and less than $40 - I was very tempted to get this pair. Just look at the price! But I already have
this pair that i love, love, love.
5.
Stiletto skinnies - A couple of bloggers rave above this brand. It's definitely a splurge to get this item.
6. The distressed skinnies with raw hem are not going anywhere.
This one is less than $45.
7. Ankle jean skinnies - A
designer pair that I ordered (!!!) I have been eyeing these for the past couple of years. But I did not want to pay the regular price. I went a size up per recommendations. I hope it's a keeper (will share the fit as soon as I receive the item).

High-rise with button-fly - another item that I ordered. I sized down because of reviews that it stretches after wear. If I can only keep one pair from my order, I really hope
it's this one. I am already imagining styling this with my
fave central shirt from the same brand.
9. Another
splurge denim if you're on the look-out. If the
splurge I ordered did not work, I may bite the bullet and upgrade to
this one instead.
10. Busted knees from free people - I own the dark wash version. I like it very much that when I saw
the lighter pairs are on sale, I ordered them!
11. Same denim in medium wash.

12. A pair named after me. Hahaha.. I own the
white denim I featured
here. If you want something different,
this one is in deep purple. It's a cute color for fall.
13. If they have the white and deep purple versions, of course,
they have all-black as well! Since the style is named Sarah and I love how the white fits, I ordered
this one!

Medium wash without rips - another choice that will not break the bank for less than $40.
