(Actual) #myoutfitToday. #leopardandpink! Day ✌️ of this 👩🏻‍⚕️ #docmomlife done. Today was better in terms of efficiency and getting stuff done beyond seeing patients. Emotionally better as well because I have the weekend to look forward to... 💃🏻 shout out to my mom @spencercalifor watching 3 kids from 8-2:30p. That’s a long time. I know it’s #survivalmode when watching the littlest and that’s ok. She took out the big guns before 10a. Lucy and Lucas were eating cake when I FaceTimed with them. 😆

I’ve brought this sweet girl to her soccer practice and her game... to give @derrick49ers a break. He coaches 3 other soccer teams except for Isabel’s. While watching her run and dribble and kick ~ I remember the 4 year old who cried and cried during practice and didn’t want to let go of my hand. Look at her now. She said after practice: I like soccer. ⚽️ today she asked the coach to be on offense two quarters in a row. She didn’t let that ball out of her sight!

If i didn’t let go of the notion of a perfectly decorated and clean home, I’d never host a #blessedisshebrunch. My house is by no means the way I want it to look. There’s clutter. There’s lots to clean. Our ceiling in our sunroom has a hole (!) and is still not repaired! But I did have a clean dining room and a yummy #eggcroissantcasserole. There’s flowers (thanks @dianastlouis) and lots more food to share (thanks wonderful ladies who made it today). Thanks @derrick49ers for taking 8 kids to the park so we can have a couple of hours of fellowship. Nash and I enjoyed brunch.

Who would have thunk it? Making #indiana home? I’m an #indianatransplant. I married @derrick49ers who is another Indiana transplant. Now we have made Indiana #ourhome. I’m #bornandbred per se in the #IUfamily attending #iumedicalschool, IU #pediatricresidency and IU #neurologyresidency. I am now an IU #faculty mentoring future #physicians. 
All of my 6 children are #Hoosiers! Indiana is a great place to raise them. #midwestvalues I just wish Indiana winter is shorter 😓 😝

Thankful for this day above 50 degrees. When we were in the Philippines, we missed the 60-70 degree weather. For the past couple of days, there's even flurries in the morning. I thought I won't wear sweater dresses anymore once I get back from the Philippines. My clothes are still in boxes. This one is a repeater because it's on the top. I did not want to keep digging.
