dinner + ice cream + laundromat stories {photo diary}
Dinner ~
Hibachi at Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse- 30 minutes north of Gulf Shores, in Foley, AL. I did not get any photos.
The Crab Trap - on the way back from Pensacola, we saw this restaurant in Perdido, FL. We watched some march Madness games during dinner. The crab legs are AWESOME!
Dinner at a blogger friend's house
De Soto's seafood kitchen for more crab legs - see photo below
Burgers! at the BeachHouse kitchen and cocktails - I rarely crave burger. It was one of those evenings. No objection from hubby there.
Fuji San - sushi, thai and Japanese food. No photos taken on this restaurant in Mobile either. The children specially Lucas was very fussy and was just ready to go. Poor baby.
Ice cream ~
Gelato Joe's, Foley AL - I love their nutella gelato. The children did not enjoy the cotton candy gelato (duh!) They should have ordered pistachio or mango or something else!
Matt's Ice Cream - the children spotted this ice cream shop on our first day driving down to our beach condo. Look at all the photos we took below.
TCBY - I was the only one that got something here. The children had their *free ice cream from De Soto's. I did not. I got the fudge chocolate yogurt shake.
Rita's Italian Ice - it was the first time for the children to have Italian ice. Daniel and I got mango. The rest got their usual cotton candy.

Sorry not sorry for bombarding this post with more than 7 photos. The children are just so cute. We were all happy in sunny St. Pete Beach because it was low-80s for the high temps. Five days at the beach ~ that's what we signed up for! Give us all the sunshine!
There was one rainy day (Tuesday) so we spent the day souvenir shopping. We went to the movies. We had lunch at a japanese steakhouse. We got the usual souvenirs ~ magnets for our fridge and the grandparents', shot glass for my mom who does not drink {she collects them}, shirts for the children.
{third}
We stayed at a timeshare in St. Pete Beach. Thanks to lolo and lola for the timeshare points.
We would love to stay there again but the usual full-kitchen is missing and instead only a kitchenette. The restaurants and bars are overpriced. Yet because of convenience we had lunch and I bought drinks there. For dinner, we ventured to nearby restaurants.
We had crab legs and seafood at Shells.
More seafood at John's Pass in Madeira Beach, north of Treasure Island.
Thai food and sushi at Nori Thai (St. Pete Beach).
More seafood and crab legs at Oyster Shucker.
Daniel and Isabel inherited my love of crab legs and cracking them!

quick trip to Branson
Girls' outfits
Dress from my mom
Lucy's striped dress - gift from Mama Meann, from the Philippines
Stride Rite, handmedowns but awesome condition, this one in white
leggings for preschool/little girls
If you see gray words, it's a link.
Instead of flooding these with our vacation photos,
I linked the ones I already posted on instagram.
photos posted here are outfit photos from our quick 4-day trip to Branson MO. I resurrected the DSLR after mos and mos of its hibernation. (I am in need of an upgrade, and I am thinking of this one. It's a big upgrade -- in price most of all since my current one is *free, hand-me-down).
Saturday - we drove down to Branson and made it to our first show. The children enjoyed the 2 hour show and whole chicken rotisserie meal. I highly recommend this show for family event.
Sunday - After Mass and taking these photos, we went to Silver Dollar City. It rained though so we only made it 1/3 into the park. Daniel wants to go back to explore the entire place. Hubs deserve a medal for the most kiddie rides in 2 hours. I, on the other hand, enjoyed my very first red velvet funnel cake. It did not disappoint.

finally feels like spring
Chanel flats
shop the look
Gucci marmont, wallet here
earrings from my mom
necklace, via Axis Mundi
bracelets, Neiman Marcus
Lucy, almost 22 months
Finally feels like spring -- says my allergies (itchy eyes, itchy throat, ear and palate).
Thanks to hubs for letting me paint one more time with Mer before baby arrives. He served at Vigil Mass while I painted. I went with Isabel (one kid!) this morning. It could have been an A++ experience, but she was whiny because I asked her to stop bumping my belly. I strained my ab muscles from bending and painting (not for fun.. but the house project I will share later). My belly is sore. I asked her to stay on my side instead. She did not like that. She whined and whined.
The Gospel was also the Passion of our Lord... so it was very long for a 5 year old who was already not happy that I asked her to stop loving on her in-utero sib.

how we survived Magic Kingdom {day 3 spring break}
affiliate links are used.
Photo overload and play-by-play, hour-by-hour, moment-by-moment post... for grandparents and for the children to read once they are older (so they may appreciate the hard work their Dada and Lola did carrying them)..
It took one and half hours to get in. We made it close to 9a at the gate of Magic Kingdom. There was a line of cars there. Then another line from the parking lot shuttles to the entrance.
Once we had our tickets, I forgot that we have to ride the train or ferry to go to Magic Kingdom.
So another line there.

Day 1 of our spring break was A LOT of driving. 14 hours became 18 hours with all the stops. I drove about 2 hours of those 14 hours. Rest were by captain Hubs.
I was afraid to go over the speed limit so I did not make good time when I was co-piloting.

Easter Monday
Pretty quiet here. Just the way I want it...
Meal prep done. Little bit of laundry done.
I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to blog these photos. But the older two are with their grandparents. They asked to spend the night there. Lucy is napping. Sebastian is supposed to be napping but back to playing with his paw patrol. He was done coloring with me.
So here goes. Photos of Lucy, Sebastian and hubs.

if i am shopping for spring items
affiliate links are used*
Here are some spring items I found while browsing...

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven
(1) cami floral dress - of course, I chose to place this one here. I picked one for my little girls. too much matchy-matchy?
(2) swing pin tuck shirt - I can never have too much white!
(3) print scuba dress - this dress is perfect for fancy date night, work dress or Sunday best.
(4) flutter sleeve
(5) gerber daisy skirt
(6) high waist and bandeau bikini set - I like the retro style swimwears. I am not sure I could pull this off though. It won't look as nice as this model.
(7) amaris cutout one piece - another one piece that's daring than my regular one-piece. Maybe something I will wear sans kids.
