My Thanksgiving-Black Friday baby turns 8 years old today. I interviewed her and asked her 8 questions.

1. What do you like daydreaming about?

Rainbows

2. If you opened a store, what would you sell?

Dresses, all kinds of dresses

3. How do you show people you care?

By giving a hug

4. Pretend you're a chef, tell me about your restaurant.

I will cook Italian food and if I have another store, I will sell cheesecake.

5. If you designed clothes, what would they look like

It will have sparkles, flowers, hearts, and rainbows.

6. What are the best things about the nature?

Animals, leaves and trees

7. What would you do if you made the rules at home?

I would say: No fighting, no grabbing other people, no pulling their hair. No screaming too loud.

8. If you would give your family new names, what would they be?

Daddy - Stuart, because Daddy likes that name.

Mummy - Grace, because it's a good name.

Daniel - Joshua, because Daniel is in the Bible and so is Joshua.

Sebastian - Luke, because he likes Star Wars.

Lucy - Madison, because it's a beautiful name.

Lucas - Bob, because maybe Bob has long hair. Maybe Henry because I don't know.

Nash - I want it to be a cute name because he is a cute baby. May I see the baby book names?

William because it's a cute name for a boy.

what i wore sunday + life lately

1. This outfit
I love a good chambray. Make it a shirtdress then it's definitely a win! I scored this one from Draper James and it's 100% cotton.

2. Who has seen Frozen II? Shhhh. Do not tell my children. I like the original better. I probably just need to watch (and watch and watch) it and then the songs will get ingrained in my brain and I will be brainwashed. Having said that, I still like the sequel and I highly recommend it.

3. Why watch a movie on opening weekend?
Anything for your children, right? We took our birthday girl and her friends to the movies. I am sharing birthday party photos here on the blog tomorrow and on instagram. Be sure to come back.

4. I am consistently wearing this garmin steps tracker. I received it after signing up on a research study. For somebody who has avoided the fitbit for a decade (because I like my swatch watches and large MK watches), the garmin vivo fit 4 is good for entry level activity tracker. It covers the basics (steps + distance + watch + dates + timer + stopwatch + calories). There is no HR tracker.

5. Let's talk football.
Hubs' team SF 49ers are killing it. It is their time. They have been awful for the past few seasons. They had that one great year in 2012 but then did not make it to the Superbowl.
I have been thinking about Tua Tagovailoa, the QB of my fave Bama Roll Tide. A hip dislocation is a serious injury. He underwent surgery and is recovering. It will be a long rehab...

If you think I have it all together ~ let me tell you a story:
Last year, I missed my child’s special person’s day in school because I cancelled the wrong clinic date. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was proactive this year. Before I went on leave (3-4 mos ago) I cancelled the date 🗓 for this year. That was 7 mos before the event. #soproudofmyself
Tuesday night, my child who I cancelled clinic for just told me she is inviting a different special person 😳 👨🏻‍💻Hubs to the rescue: you should still take your mummy. She cancelled clinic for you. 👧🏻: ok. Can she bring baby??? So I was uninvited. Then re-invited as long as I bring Nash. (Who is the special person in this scenario??) 🤱🏻 The following day, I realized I canceled the wrong date for special person’s day! That’s two years in a row!

I’m late at this #GOT bandwagon. Believe me, I tried watching a couple of years ago and the opening scene with gore and beheading - I wasn’t prepared for all that. So I stopped watching and returned the dvd to the library.
Spring 2019, @jenniferfulwiler shared her #bingewatching #gameofthrones and I was “influenced.” Yet again. She shared @emilia_clarke’s brain surgery (x2!) after filming seasons 1 and 2. I decided I’m going to give this #hboHit a chance. I was also more prepared this time around. I knew there was a lot of killing and gore and guts and nudity. @jenniferfulwiler said if i make it past season 2, the nudity scenes go way down. I was still shocked 😳 watching the guts (think #battleofthebastards) and nudity (brothels, sex scenes) but I did make it past season 2. In fact I’m caught up and watched all the way to season 7 during my maternity leave.
I liked the story so much that I’m reading the novels 📖 (as I’ve shared this summer) and rewatching season 1 (just started this week). I’m a sucker for #foreignaccents and dark-haired heroes. Hello Robb Stark 🤴🏻👑 . Hello Jon Snow 🗡 🐉 🐺 . Hello superman (wait superman is not on GOT. Just testing if you made it this far on my caption)
How about you? Are you a game of thrones fan 🤴🏻A) from the very beginning B) yes but started halfway through the series C) late like me, watching it after the series ended or D) not interested. Count me out.

Whew. We all survived a Tuesday. Shout out to @spencercali for helping at the soccer fields. My husband (mr. superdad) was going to coach 3&4 yo soccer practice and watch the 2 yo and the baby and the three older kids. 😳 I know he could do it. But come on hubs. You make me look lazy.
My mom was my 👀 eyes out there while I was still finishing in clinic. Hubs didn’t want to ask for extra help but 😐 coaching with a 3 mo and 2 yo 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even superdads don’t have gazillion eyes to watch everybody. It’s October! My anniversary month. The month of the Holy Rosary. Breast cancer awareness month. Down syndrome awareness month. Rett syndrome awareness month. Fall break. It starts with the #littleflower’s feast day. #stthereseoflisieux. In a couple of days, it’s #stfrancisofassisi.... Both saints are my daughters’ namesake.
