Has it really been a month since my last entry?
--> A month of waiting for the Hunger Games movie and finally, finally got to see it opening weekend. Yes,I was one of those who contributed to its $155M debut. I am still feeling the HG fever. Reading articles about the movie or the actors everyday. Even re-read the book before I watched it over the weekend. My hubby (so loving!) is going to see the movie with me (again!) this weekend for our date night.
Thanks to Sheila and my sister for sharing the series with me. I read the trilogy over Christmas/maternity leave and since then couldn't wait for the release of the movie.
What makes the trilogy so enticing -- the heroine, the act of rebellion/fighting not-so-just republic, Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen.
I never believed in the love triangle part of the trilogy. This is NOT Twilight peeps!
Spoiler alert.
I knew from the very beginning (first book!) that it will be Peeta and Katniss in the end!
I love this group picture. Even before they released who's who, I figured out the characters! Clove, Marvel, FoxFace, Thresh, Glimmer, Cato, Rue, Peeta, Katniss, Gale.
Sheila texted me (back in December) when I showed her this Vanity Fair picture. She said I am addicted!
Gotta watch the movie y'all..... if not in the theaters, rent it when it comes out at your nearest redbox.
--> my baby girl is 4 months old. Check out her beautiful, angelic smile. Isn't she lovely? Look at her wild hair.
-->One month of adult neurology is almost over. I am absorbing all adult neurology I can take with my very last Adult month in May. I am thankful that I am getting closer to do what I love to do -- see kids. My last year of Child Neuro residency is dedicated to Child Neurology (finally!).
-->A month of not working out. I am not thrilled about that at all. I average only 2 workouts a week. I can tell I need Zumba and Strength exercise. My mood is definitely better after I have accomplished my 3-4 workouts a week. I don't blame having 2 kids that's keeping me from the gym. It's the "working 10-12 hours per day" hence I just want to lounge around at home with the kiddos........
-->A month of ..... spiderman. Not quite a month, but just in the past weeks, my boy wants to be Spiderman when he grows up. No more accountant or astronaut. He asked for spiderman sneakers --his lola caved in. They went to BK just so he can get spiderman face paint!
Enough ramblings and randomness.... Time to hit the dance floor (aka my family room) to shed some calories and release some happy hormones!
