Mr. Very-Late is scheduled to see me at 9a for new patient appointment. He and his family traveled 2.5 hours to see me (sad enough, there are not a lot of peds neurologist so lots of my patients travel quite a bit to see me).
I have never met this family.
There was no phone call at all before 9a to let the office know that they are running behind.
9:30a: still no patient.
10a: still no patient.

my eldest
I blinked and suddenly, my firstborn is 6 years old. Tomorrow is his half year birthday. Wasn't I just carrying his carseat and "eating" brunch with him for his first half birthday?

I love *mostly everything about him. I'd be lying if I say he is perfect.
I don't like the lack of motivation sometimes. But I love his energy, smile and sweetness. He is a big help at home. He is stepping up as kuya to his sibs.
I am proud of him. He is a budding mathematician. He got his parents genes. I love math. Hubs likes Math.
He also shares my bad habit of stopping by Starbucks. I grab my soy latte. He asks for his cheese danish or banana nut bread.
I appreciate his willingness to go with the flow and take photos of his mother at a parking lot.

what i wore when i went down the toilet
It's vest and layering season.
That's why a lot of folks love autumn. There are so many ways to spice up outfits
I love this vest. it's 5 years old and still very pretty. It's reversible. bright pink on one side ~~ may fave.. and then bright orange on the other side ~~ perfect for the fall season.
one other tidbit - it's a girls XL.
We were invited to a children's party held at a children's museum an hour away. It has a HUGE toilet! I pretended to be a.... you know what...... Isabel was afraid to go down. I don't blame her. Seeing a HUGE toilet for a little girl -- I will be afraid too.
Little D enjoyed the circuits table. He copied the different patterns and circuits to make LED switch, alarm, etc.
