Day 2 of our Spring break was our first full day in Orlando.
We went to the resort pool. The water was so cold. Daniel enjoyed the hot tub more than anything. Lucy and Lola just hung out by the poolside getting their tan (not).
Now here's an obligatory palm tree + sky shot...
when in Florida, eh?
The night before, I googled churches in Orlando and found this and this. we wanted a late Mass because nobody wanted to get up at 8a. So we decided to go to this one because it's only 12 minutes away from the resort.
I had a brain fart and entered the other church on google maps. Both churches have HOLY so I mixed them up! I just assumed that the 25 minute travel change was due to the "rush hour" traffic. Derrick followed his navigator (aka me) - no questions asked. Until we made it at 5:05p because duh traffic right.... when we should have been there 10 minutes earlier. . The church parking lot was empty!
The sign showed that 2p was the last Mass.
hubs said: I think this is the other church you mentioned.
eeeeeeepppppp.......
I was ready to call it quits.
But he said, ok, let's go to the other one.
And let's start listening to the readings since we are SOOOOO very late.Thank you for the audio, usccb.
We made it to the tail end of the homily. But somebody was confirmed and accepted to the church -- so we got to see that beautiful sacrament.

Hubs forgave me....
He took my OOTD, as always.
Dress, zulily
flipflops, so old
my very first Louis (thanks hubs!)
For dinner, there was a Mexican restaurant just across from the church. Daniel wanted queso... the moms needed margaritas!
Kids and their hats with their Lola.
