I was not ready to wear my dresses with tights yet. There will be lots and lots of days until March when that's all I will be wearing. I love maxi dresses but they can be tricky at work. I sit on those wheelie chairs (I don't know the exact name for them) and the wheels always (!) eat the hems of my dress. Annoying.

Solution: Since I am only 5'2, I can get away with midi dresses looking like maxi dresses. They don't quite hide my ankles but lengthwise, I am pretty satisfied. I don't step on the hems. I can wear heels or flats.

This dress was only $20, on clearance (more here). I layered it with my long cardigan which has been on repeat. Hubs called this the librarian look.
