It's almost a week since our anniv weekend in Nashville, TN. Before I forget the fun details, I want to blog them here for a travel diary post. Bits and pieces of the weekend already shared on ig  so feel free to skip this post if you already follow me there.

Hubs and I drove late morning to Nashville. We had a late start. We stayed up watching the Blacklist on Netflix. The older children were already with my in-laws. We dropped off the baby at my mom's right before lunch. She lent her sandals and you can see them here. They were comfy (she was right!) and I wore them all day and all night.  We made it around 3p and checked in our AirBnB.

Our first night, we went to two rooftop bars. The first one was the Thompson hotel at The Gulch area. There was a deejay playing 80s music. Hubs was in 80s heaven. I had a couple of mixed drinks because we had a late reservation at the Flyte World and Dining restaurant.

At 830p CST, 930 our time (!) we went to our dinner reservations! The food was amazing! I had the scallops and D had the chicken.  After dinner, we ventured out to the  Westin bec of another rooftop bar. Wow. The view here was even better than the view from the Thompson! I shared photos on my personal ig account (are we friends there??)

That was a night too many mixed drinks. whew!

We stopped by the #whatliftsyou wings by famous streetwall artist Kelsey Montague! Glad the wings were lighted up. There was always a long line of people waiting to take photos for the gram.  I did not have to wait at all. There were a couple in front of us, then my turn!

I am going to drag this travel diary out. I am on call and it's getting late. I will probably get paged later tonight.

So Sunday, our anniversay day itself, will be on another post.

This outfit was what I wore for Sunday Mass and lunch.
Hasta luego!
