One of the best parts of this anniv weekend was sleeping in! we stayed up late and woke up late. We went to ST. Henry Catholic church just 2 mins away from our airBnB.

What a beautiful church. The 11a mass was busy with lots of young families. It was lovely to see. Hubs and I held hands almost the entire Mass. When was the last time we did that? we were always chasing a toddler or stopping a fight or walking to the cry room.

Take home points from the deacon's homily. Five sentences to remember and use:
I am proud of you.
What do you think?
Will you please...
Thank you.
You

We had plans to take photos at the rooftop bars during the day. So we decided lunch at the Gulch area again. That's where the Otaku Ramen restaurant is located. Their ramen is amazing and delicious!

Funny share: In their restroom, they have a live-feed of an intersection in Japan. It was 1p CST so 3am in Japan. There were still several people out and about crossing the streets.  The hostess said it's the famous street where 6 roads intersect and cross there. Do y'all know this famous street??? I will have to google this.

After lunch, we drove to the Westin again. It started to sprinkle a little bit. I was disappointed that the pool area and lounge was full :( what did I expect? it is a HOT spot.
The penthouse was also closed off during the day. So no outfit photos from the 28th floor of the Westin  to post here.  We took iphone photos but not big cam photos. Besides drinks, we shared this huge brownie dessert.

Before dinner, we went back to the airBnB to freshen up and change. I did not want to go to dinner with my Sunday Best outfit. I wanted to wear something that says: I am on a date! I changed to my red dress and nude pumps! We had reservations to a Brazilian steakhouse. I am married to a meat-eater.

Next to us were an older couple - married for 2 years. They were celebrating their anniversary the 1st of October. They were from CT. Lovely couple. It's their second marriage with grown children of their own.

While finishing our dinner, we checked the tickets again for Bruno Mars. He was in town for two nights. The day before, we looked and the tickets were around $600 at the very top level  (300 sections). There were seats on the main floor with asking price of $2000. Yeah right....

We got tickets on the 100 section (pretty good spot!) and they were less than $200. It was a great decision. Hubs and I are Bruno Mars fans. Our kids love to dance and sing Bruno Mars' songs.

He's a great entertainer and dancer. He and his band put on a great concert. It was a great finale for our anniversary.
