Postpartum update
My sweet tooth is back. I could not handle anything sweet (chocolate, shakes, cakes) during pregnancy with Lucas. Baby is out and sadly, I may gain more weight, rather than loose the pregnancy weight.
It's the WORST craving too. During the happy hours of 2-5p, you will find me and my crew at the drive-thru of S&S.
How can I kick this sugar addiction?
I am hoping that once I go back to work -- I know I won't be at the happy hour drive thru at least 3 days a week.
There is no workout program yet. I had my 6 week postpartum appt and everything has healed. Bleeding has stopped. Breastfeeding is also going pretty well.
I have been "active" carrying carseats, picking up kids from camp, taking them to the library. But that is not enough. I need to bump up that heart rate.
Children are learning the moves from Bruno Mars That's what I like. They love dancing with the official video. {thankfully they don't know or understand all the words!} I dance with them every now and then.
Erika has inspired me to go back to yoga or at least start waking up some sleepy muscles with yoga. There's also a new pure barre location just 5 minutes from our house... but right now, something at home while Lucas is sleeping is what I can do. I don't have the energy to do a hard core 30 minute exercise program like 21day fix yet. I will have to work myself up to that point.
If you have any recommendations or words of encouragement to kick that sugar habit... and/or start a workout program, I am all ears.
