It's sooooo good she's dreaming of the spaghetti. Forget forks, she'll use her hands!
My love affair with wine in cooking has been rekindled.
This spaghetti recipe is healthy {I used ground turkey} and has a healthy dose of red wine. Kid approved. Hubby approved. Winner!

I heated up 1 tbsp of EVOO in a large pan over medium high heat. I sautéed sliced mushrooms {8 oz} and 1/4 cup of red wine {or more!} for abt one minute.

Next, I removed the mushrooms and wine sauce once the mushrooms are tender. I added a lb of ground turkey breast and 1 link of hot Italian sausage {crumbled without casing}. Since the meat is lean, I followed Jenna's advise and added 1 tbsp of olive oil.
After browning the meat, I placed the mushroom and redwine sauce back in the pan. Next, I added a jar of healthy marinara sauce. I looked for one with less sodium, less calories. Choose whatever favorite jar you like.

Since I grew up with sweet spaghetti {pinoy spaghetti}, I added 2 tbsp of brown sugar.
Then, I added a tbsp of minced fresh rosemary. {smells strong but lovely}
We like angel hair and thin spaghetti.... So that's what i made. We have also been eating the whole wheat variety.

Here's the finished product.
And more photos of my food critic: {gives me joy that she loves my cooking}
