Try this exercise:
God is love. Love = Jesus.
Whenever you see love, substitute Jesus. Love is not just the Eros love Paul is talking about. Love is sacrifice; is ever-faithful; is agape.
3 Love {Jesus} is patient, love {Jesus} is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated,
5
it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
6
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
7
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8
Love {Jesus} never fails.
AMEN.

Impromptu sushi trip.
---------------------
I let my husband host a small Super Bowl party at our house. {he's been waiting for the 49ers to get this far!}
My mom is bringing chicken wings..... And I requested fried catfish (crave... crave...) from this same place {hey it's Sunday in London: i figured fish & chips is acceptable!}
I'm making this super easy chicken dip! It was a hit for my son's second birthday so I'm making it again for company. And since I requested fried fish {a not so traditional tailgating food} I better make a fan favorite!
Ingredients
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Sauce
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken
So easy steps:
HEAT oven to 350°F. Place cream cheese into deep baking dish. Stir until smooth.
MIX in salad dressing, Frank's RedHot Sauce and cheese. Stir in chicken.
BAKE 20 min. or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers, veges or scooper chips that my hubs like.
Happy Sunday y'all.

ReplyDeleteI love Zulily!! Cute dress. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's such a beautiful reflection on the Gospel...I feel like that reading is one that kind of loses it's significance when we here it so often, and you give such a new-to-me perspective on it, Sarah. I have to say...being from Baltimore, I could never root for the 49ers, but I hope you have a great Superbowl Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI love Zulily too! My dress from last week was from Zulily.
