Lucky us, we have grandparents who live close that we can leave all five for a true date night. A true date night nowadays is a rare occurrence.  I don't mind having the baby with us when D and I go out (that's already a treat!) one child or two children on a date night is better than taking all five out.

But when it's just D and I ~ then it's definitely special. I am thankful.

I have a meat-loving husband. So for our NY Eve date night, move a week later because of the frigid temps, we went to his fave Brazilian Steakhouse in downtown Indy. It's pricey and lots of meat/food. We probably go once every couple of years. The last time was when I was pregnant with Lucy for my mom's bday.

For our Valentine's date,  moved a week earlier.  Wow, we don't celebrate anything on the day of!  It was devour Indy so restaurants all over the city have specials. We tried Ocean Prime. I wore this outfit for date night...

See my face above remarking on how COLD it was outside.
Yet that did not stop me from documenting this outfit.
