Happy Sunday, friends!
Did you have a jam-packed weekend?  or did you just relax and maybe have taken a nap?

I took a 45-minute nap today during the second quarter of the Pacers vs. Cavs game (oh so sad that Lebron beat the Pacers!) Pacers' season is over.

Blogging may have been dying since "influencers" seem to be the only ones posting consistently. Yet, I know I will treasure the journaling portion of blogging. Thanks Colleen, Grace, Lisa, Rosie and so many more keeping the blogging-torch alive and lit! They were my original reads when I started blogging and they ARE still posting!

Soooooo... back to our weekend. We were in the "jam-packed weekend" team.
Saturday morning was the first annual memorial walk dedicated to our dear friend and colleague Dr. Mandy Harris who was a great wife and mom, neonatal neurologist and friend.  It was quite a windy morning. I had tears on my eyes on the straight-away but so happy to have participated. Funds went to the Strike out Type 1 Diabetes campaign. I easily got 5000 steps that morning. I thank my husband and eldest and youngest for getting up early to go to the walk.

Bastian had his second Teeball game. He had his team and individual photos taken. My mom made it to the game. Thanks Lola for watching the other children... specially since I had to leave and go to Daniel's game.

Daniel had his best game so far! I don't speak baseball language but let me break down his stats for you --
2 hits
1 walk
1 strike out

He said he had one steal as well...

We got him a new fielder's glove, batting gloves and helmet. We went to our nearby sporting goods store and they ran out of the smaller and lightweight bats. He needs 27 inch 16 oz bat.

His best game might have been because he practiced quite a bit the morning of the game. He played catch with Derrick. He practiced pitching. He jogged instead of walking at the memorial walk.

Today, besides watching the Pacers lose :( we braved opening weekend of the Avengers Infinity War and took all 5 kids! We have never gone on opening weekend with children. The days (nights) of going to the movies on opening weekend were during our pre-baby days. Now, we are used to just arriving at the theaters 10 mins before the previews. We finally bit the bullet and paid for slightly more just to have reserved seats. It was worth it because were were running "right on time" again. If we did not have reserve seats, we would have sat at the very first row which I do not like.

I am glad Lucy was free to "roam" from one chair to the other chairs. Then Lucas nursed and napped! I hope there are no nightmares because it's a PG13 movie and we took all children, clearly, under 13.

I hope you and yours had a great weekend.
Conquer the new week like a boss!
