I really think I am going to  deliver  baby #5 on my due date.  Just when I thought there will be a pattern - this baby throws me (everybody!) a curve ball.

Daniel came at 38 weeks + 6 days.
Isabel (the one closest to her due date) was the latest one at 39 weeks + 2 days.
Sebastian was born at 38 weeks + 4 days.
Lucy was my earliest (yet still full term babe) born at 38 weeks.

When people ask "how do you feel?"      "How are you?"

My answer: I actually feel pretty well! My Blood pressure is within normal range. I have no protein or glucose in my urine. I have no swelling. I haven't gained weight (not a pound... maybe just fluctuations in oz) for over a month.

My body is not "hostile" to baby D5. That must be it. the baby is loving the third trimester.
My cravings helped me curb my weight gain. I did not gain 50 lbs (yipppeeee!) Too sweet of stuff (like my fave ice cream or chocolate) or too much carbs w/o protein, give me headaches. so I eat those things infrequently this pregnancy.

Besides the discomfort of muscle strain and also reflux (heartburn), I am doing pretty well.

I saw my OB at 39 weeks + 3 days. That's the longest I have ever been pregnant.  A colleague said: "look at you!  Breaking records!"

Indeed.

How about some house reno or project updates?
The closet making was put on hold mid April on. I was feeling tired all the time. I just wanted to sit on the couch instead of drill, drill, drill.

One day last week ~ right at my 39 week mark, hubs and I resumed our closet wood working. we were rusty! The baseboards are now screwed to the closet. Hubs just needs muscle power from neighbors and friends to lift/stand up the closet system so it can be attached to the wall. Then I plan on either painting it or maybe use this gray varnish to give it an old, weathered look. Any votes or recommendations?

As for other house projects, the library is still full of boxes. we made one bookshelf. It is not being used yet because it has to be attached to the wall. It's a super heavy bookshelf made of 2 x12s. We still need to make two more so all three can line one wall.

oh... and the basement is also cluttered. yikes.
It will be ready for my sister and her fam, and my dad when they visit this summer. Well, it better be... because we are going to house them. I have a deadline!
