Ignore the wrinkles at the hem of my maxi dress. OOOOPS! I knotted the hem (as usual!) during Mass and lunch.
The Easter Octave ends today with Divine Mercy Sunday. It was such a week of celebration. I hosted my first Blessed Is She brunch yesterday. I got to meet women from all over Indy. I hope to host another one sometime in the summer, after the baby is born.

This week's homily by Fr. Guy~
He quoted St. Thomas Aquinas: To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.
Faith comes from divine grace and human effort.
To continue living our life of faith in Jesus Christ, he shared the following three things we need to follow:
~ humility - we are not our own Creator.
~desire - our hearts naturally hope and desire for more. We strengthened that faith by going to Church, receiving the sacrament, through life of community.
~openness - if we refuse God's will for us, and are afraid of transformation, we are not living in faith.
These are my three prayers this Sunday and for the rest of the week.
