I was just telling hubs that we haven't been on a date night since our Valentine's lunch date. That is more recent compared to other families and couples needing a date night STAT. But I can tell that I am looking for that alone time without chasing a toddler or breaking up a sprint race between the 5 yo and 9 yo during dinner!
Thank you, Mom/Lola for taking all five children! It was a great Friday surprise. D and I went to a local restaurant, Delicia. I got the cazuela de mariscos (seafood stew!) and D got the baked salmon. Both were so delicious. We then finished our dinner and shared a tres leches cake.
I am thankful for family. I am thankful for date nights. I am thankful for good food. Happy Friday, friends!
