1. My first seven quick takes of the year! so apologies for a dozen photos of this outfit that was clearly not taken recently. It's from the summer when I sported my Marian bandanna and flashed my nice summer tan.

2.  I am still *high* from the seek conference that I attended virtually.  I was late finding out that I could have gotten a day pass or an evening pass to the event. I did not have anybody to watch the children. My eldest was getting recognized along with the other altar servers for their service so we already committed to going to Mass as a family.

Talks I have seen. Some I watched live on livestream during the conference. A couple I watched this week.
-Jennifer Fulwiler - atheism to Catholicism and her big keynote address about loving-life first and incorporating the blue flame
-Fr. Mike  - pray the Mass like never before
-Leah Darrow - keynote opening night
-Sister Miriam James
-Scott Hahn
-Dr. Edward Sri
-Chris Stefanick - Joy of Christians
-Jason Evert
-Paul J. Kim - Catholic Millenial's guide to Adulting
- Sarah Swafford

3. This song by Matt Maher sung at seek is also on my repeat on my YouTube.

4. Shout out to my goddaughter who turned nine years old! Happy birthday, Adrielle!

5. Eczema or atopic dermatitis is ravaging our house.
Lucas' face is raw. He rubs his cheeks on me or Derrick or his bedsheets. Sebastian's antecubital fossa (aka inside his elbow) has excoriations and dry skin and various stages of healing and fresh scratches. It is not a pretty sight! We have this big tub of aquaphor at home and are not afraid to use it! Our pediatrician also suggested bactroban (antibiotic) and thin application of topical steroids (No steroids on the face!) just the extremities and again, tiny film!

6. If you're in the Indy and surrounding areas, consider joining our table of not-so-nerdy neurologists for a good cause and fun night out.  The Healing Hearts Dinner is on February 9th, 530-930p at the downtown Regions Tower, Indianapolis. The event proceeds will go to the  Jacob Sharpe Foundation which is the first of its kind to help pay for funeral and memorial costs for children who die at Riley Hospital for Children.

There will be dinner, silent auction and several speakers. 21+ and cocktail attire.
$80 for general tickets/admission. $75 if you'd like to join our table(s).
Let me know if you are interested and I will have your seat reserved!

For more information, head here.
