My children are already out of school. The community pool is officially open. Plans for next week include library trips to start summer reading program. I have to keep these children's brains busy and avoid lots of screentime (which I am sure they will still have).
These photos showcase the 34 week bump. I am now 35 weeks.
Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is in good control. Fasting and after meal blood sugars are within range! It's bizarre that I failed the glucola test by18 points but I just avoid super crazy sugar-laden meals and treats. I had my diabetes education taught by a registered dietitian. There werea 2 other first time moms with gestational diabetes. My diet has been pretty good already. Not a lot carb choices, and always combined with protein and fats.
I had my ultrasound last week. Baby Nash is on the 80th percentile and measuring 5 lbs 13 oz. Ultrasound during third trimesters are not as accurate as first trimester ultrasounds. That weight can be 1/2 lb off. I think this baby is closer to 5 lbs than 6 lbs.
I am sad I won't be watching the Indy 500 this year. Last year was my first time and it was a blast. There's no way I can walk 2 miles in the heat (or thunderstorm) and then another few miles at the speedway. I am not conditioned like my friend, Erika who just completed her half marathon at 23 weeks! She's amazing!
Praying for all our vets who gave and lost their lives serving our country.

I love how you knotted the dress! And it looks so cute with that top.
