2017 in review

2017,  you have been so good to Disis and the Dcrew.

// January //
Listed our meridian house on New Year's Day. 9 days later, sold! God is good.
We pass by our old house and children still say they miss it a lot. Me too, kids, me too.

 // February //
My mom and I, with two children ages 3  and 18 months flew across the pacific ocean to visit family in the Philippines.
Photo diary of our trip to La Union
Calle Crisologo in Vigan
How I survived a long plane ride with Lucy.

// March //
Technically, we actually moved on the last day of February. But March was our first full month in our new home. I was nesting like crazy. I started building. We built my closet and shelves for the library.

// April //
Quick trip to Branson, MO.
There was no beach vacation for the almost 36 week preggo lady.
Daniel also had his First Holy Communion.

// May //
Our sweet Lucas was born!
His birth story here.

// June //
I was still on maternity leave. I turned another year older.
Lucy turned two.

// July //
My eldest turned 8 years old.
My dad and sister's family came over to visit.

// August //
My Isabel started Kindergarten.
Since we did not have our beach vacation during spring break, we went to SW Michigan for a weekend at the lake... twice!
DisisD also celebrated 10 years in the blog world.

// September //
Bastian turned 4 years old. He also had his first soccer season.

// October //
Disis celebrated 11 years together... with a baby, during a work conference. (oh so fun!)
We went to our first fall break vacation. No staycation this year.

// November //
Isabel turned 6 years old.
I survived a week at the wards during Thanksgiving.

// December //
I took hubs and Lucas to DC for AES meeting.
I published my 1000th post.

Advent went by so fast and Christmas season is spent with family and loved ones. I have been quiet here on the blog... but not unplugged totally. I have been updating my ig feed for the 12 days of Christmas. I am going crazy on instastory as well. IG is easy and quick but blogging is still a creative outlet for me. This year-in-review was so easy because I just went to my blog archives.

Thanks so much for reading and for following along.
Till next year!
