A lot of happenings today.
It's the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
It's National Ice Cream Day and $1.45 scoops at Graeter's.
Daniel's last day as a 5 year old!
We are also resting today after an awesome (HOT) party at the splash park. Stay tuned for a photo diary! SOON.
I am joining Kendra for this week's Answer Me This.
1. What's currently on your To Do list?
Write Thank You Notes for meals and Lucy's presents
Finish Lucy's birth announcement cards
Finish my sister's painting!
2. Better type of superhero: magic/radioactive powers? Or trauma/gadgets/hard work?
I like superpowers. Like fly, freeze time, beam myself at a different location, cast a spell, something like that!
3. Finding out if baby is a boy or a girl before birth: Good idea? Bad idea?
My husband and I did 50/50 on this. we found out before birth for the first two. Then we decided we can wait and be surprised for our next two. I think it is actually fun! Bad idea, if you are a total planner like me! I had to find out for my first two because I had to paint the room, buy clothes, etc etc. I think for the rest of our children (yep, still open to life) that we will keep them as a surprise.
4. Have you ever appeared on a stadium jumbotron?
Not me! But my husband and his twin did. They were at an Indianapolis Colts game at the old RCA dome. They were doing their little hustle dance and they were featured at the jumbotron. Cool kids.
5. Are you more book smart or more street smart?
I will let my husband answer this. he says, I am book smart.
Sadly, I agree... I wish I am more street smart.
6. Have you had that baby yet?
yes, thanks for asking! Lucy Therese is born at 38 weeks + 2 days. She did not want to be named America or Independence so she came early.

Love those shoes with that skirt - I wouldn't have though of mixing those colors, but they look GREAT!
ReplyDeleteI was skeptical at first -- pink and red? I'm crazy... But then I thought: red shoes go with everything! Hehe.
DeleteOne of these days we'll try to be surprised with the gender of our baby... But so far we've found out every time! Maybe next time :)
ReplyDeleteYou are looking GREAT, mama! Totally rocking those heels. Man, I don't think my swollen ankles were ready to wear heels until at least 6 months post partum! hehe
ReplyDeletethank you ;)
