Now that the trees are done pollinating, I am able to stay outside for longer periods without clawing my eyes out. Thanks to my intranasal steroids and eyedrops.

Let's go in reverse order for our weekend recap~
I wanted a margarita before the weekend ended. So we went to a nearby Mexican restaurant for dinner.

We went to an open house in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis. The children enjoyed playing spikeball and received lots of gummy bears and candy.

We participated in our parish's annual Corpus Christi procession. I carried Lucas in the sling. He fell asleep! Three different parishioners offered and pushed Lucy's stroller. Derrick walked with the cub scouts. It was a hot day but I am glad there were lots of young families there.

Last night, we had cupcakes and the children sang me a HBD song. We went to Vigil Mass.

Father-son baseball game was cancelled because all of the fields were used for practice. Little League Playoffs start tomorrow.

Brave the Shave! My son's team reached their goal. Our little league also went over our goal! The Mayor of Indianapolis was true to his word. He shaved his head. Thank you, thank you for  all the donors.  They deserve a shoutout here~

A few more friends without instagram - you know who you are! Daniel has something for all donors. Thank you again!

We slept in! D and I only had our eldest and our youngest. We still woke up at a decent time but just stayed in bed talking.

Friday night was special. D and I tried St. Elmo Steakhouse for the first time. The cocktail sauce of the famous shrimp cocktail was SPICY! I loved it. We finished the entire bottle of pinot noir. We haven't had a 2.5 hour meal in months (maybe years?) I enjoyed that long dinner with my date.
