The cutie makes an appearance with her Lolo. we had a happy independence day celeb at our house.

I missed linkup last week for "what I wore Sunday" because I had a baby! we were at the hospital all day Sunday. A Eucharistic Minister came last week to the hospital and Derrick and I received Communion. It was a good surprise.

Derrick and I brought our one-week old Lucy to vigil Mass. We actually went to Mass... instead of you know, herding cattle (chasing kids, refereeing, etc). Lucy was the big news at church. Lovely ladies stopped by to say hello to her. Even the visiting priest stopped by. Thanks to my sweet mama who watched the older 3 nap, so Derrick can serve at Mass and we can join him).

The outfit above is something I threw on without much planning. I don't think I pulled off the look I want. The postpartum bump is still big. No surprise there. I chose the white top from Francesca thinking I can just unbutton the top when I nurse. fail! It was difficult unbuttoning the buttons. I gave up.

The vintage red skirt was one of my purchase from a trip to a local consignment shop. I hope to wear it more and more once I loose the pregnancy weight/ bump.

  3. That skirt is fabulous! And I totally feel you on tricky buttons - some shirts seem nursing-friendly until you try unbuttoning with one hand ;)

Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!!!
