The second part of this post is pinata time. My mom started making pinatas for her grandkids' parties 4 years ago. Scroll and watch the action shots of the serious pinata-hitting. Pay attention to the other older children practicing their swings during Sebastian's turn. I also love their faces once my brother hit the pinata and the candy finally spilled over! I spy lots of starbursts and gum.
Lucas of course, was the first one to hit the pinata. I gave the bat to him and he pushed it away. We did that a few times, me giving the pinata a "love-tap."
It was a beautiful Mother's Day weekend with family - topped with Lucas turning one year old.
We were blessed with good weather, good food and good company.
