Last year, I just gave birth to a cute baby boy. It was our first weekend at home. I dressed up but just stayed at home.
This year, we have a new one-year old. We have been in our house for over 15 months. The flowers we planted last year are growing.
My husband and Isabel woke up early to go to our local nursery and got me my wishlist of flowers. Next spring, after another gloomy winter, these blooms will brighten up everybody's mood -- my mood most of all! I received peonies and stargazers... plus miniature roses! Isabel and hubs did a good job.
I am glad last week was over. It was a good week for my dad and brother to visit. We had something in the schedule every single day. We don't pack our weeks like that. Monday ~ Boy scouts Gold and banquet dinner, Tuesday ~ baseball games, Wednesday ~ break, Thursday ~ preschool celebration, Friday ~ third grade wax museum and Lucas' birthday, Saturday ~ his party!
Off to bed, before my pager goes off again. Why, yes, I am on call tonight.
