I missed posting here.
Here's my outfit from last Sunday. We went to our former parish and then headed 15 miles north of Indy to visit friends and their farm.  I brought my wellies and changed into them when we visited the chickens. I did not want to roll an ankle wearing these plush velvet pink booties.

I am also very proud of my young man, little D. He served his first Mass today. First year altar servers are usually the "extra" in the group. Not a lot of responsibilities given to them for the first year. However, one of the altar servers did not make it tonight. So Daniel had to step up and be server #3 instead of being the extra. He did a great job. Thanks to the coaching of the two older, more seasoned servers!

Daniel was approached by several parishioners after Mass complimenting him on this job well-done. He did not drop anything. He did not burn anything. He knelt the entire time during the Eucharistic Prayer without resting his bottom. So so proud of him!

He was "a little bit afraid" he said before and during Mass. But he made it. Now his younger sibs want to serve like him. Hubs said: "All of you guys can serve as you get older and Mama can play the piano again at Mass." Oh I would love to play again at Mass...
