Mother's day was early for this momma. I received Isabel's flower after the preschool program. I also wore my Mother's Day outfit for Satuday vigil.
I hope all the mamas out there are having a wonderful day. Like what my mom said, it's just any other day but let's make it special for our mamas.

Sharing my pastor's words this Ascension Sunday:
we must never forget that
what we do within the Church is for the purpose of equipping
the laity for their true and proper mission: bringing
Christ into every sector of society. Serving on a committee,
or in a ministry, or attending Bible studies are all
wonderful and necessary things, but they are meaningless
unless they bear fruit out in the world at large. The question
of the angels to the Apostles, “Why are you staring at
the sky?” might be a way of telling us that our worship
and parish activities are useless if we only gaze heavenward,
while failing to see the need for action in the world
around us.
